In a down year in the Big Ten, the clear favorite is Ohio State to repeat as conference champions with Wisconsin posing as their biggest threat. The Badgers don’t lose at the Kohl Center and are finally getting preseason recognition after years of being chosen to finish in the bottom half of the conference. They will need players to step up to relieve pressure off All-American candidate Jordan Taylor if they hope to challenge the Buckeyes. Watch out for Michigan to make some noise in tournament play as well. Their backcourt of Hardaway Jr., Novak, and Douglass should help Big Blue nation forget about the loss of Darius Morris and improve a team that almost knocked off Duke in the second round of the NCAA tournament.
