Player Rankings: 21-25

21. Will Barton 6'6" SG Memphis / Sophomore

As a casual Memphis fan, I was able to watch Barton quite a bit the past two seasons and even after a successful freshman campaign, I thought the swingman was one of the most improved players in the nation as a sophomore. Barton has one of the highest ceilings in the draft and hopefully his improvements from his freshman to sophomore seasons are only a sign of things to come. I was impressed with Barton's rebounding skills and although he needs to get a lot stronger, he is the type of play that can play in any type of  system and make an immediate impact.

22. Jeff Taylor 6'7" SF Vanderbilt / Senior

Taylor is super athletic and should be able to add immediate energy. He is an above average defender and will be able to guard many small forwards and shooting guards in the league, a highly sought after defensive position today. The slasher will get easy buckets in transition and should be a reliable jump shooter. He has the body to make an impact right away and can be compared to a Thabo Sefolosha.

23. Quincy Miller 6'9" SF Baylor / Freshman

Quincy Miller flirted with the idea of returning to Baylor for his sophomore season before declaring for the draft. Personally, he could use another year in college but his upside alone will get him drafted in the first round. The Big 12 co-Freshman of the Year is the perfect size for a small forward and with the help of some added pounds over the summer, should be a more than capable defender with his length. He showed maturity on a stacked Baylor team and was able to let the game come to him as the third or fourth option on many offensive series. Because of this, I would still like to see him develop more of an identity on offense but must remember that he is still only 19.

24. Austin Rivers 6'4" SG Duke / Freshman
Austin Rivers had high expectations as arguably the top recruit coming out of high school and by my standards, didn't fulfill them. He showed signs as a  reliable shooting guard during the Maui Invitational and at the memorable Duke vs. UNC game in Chapel Hill when Rivers hit the game winning three point shot. Other than these moments, Rivers didn't assert himself in Duke's offense and had trouble playing within a team. He shouldn't have a hard time fitting in on an NBA team with iso's being a popular play selection but he's small for his position and may have a difficult time guarding bigger shooting guards. I expect him to be a mid-first round selection.

25. Marquis Teague 6'2" PG Kentucky / Freshman
Teague improved his draft stock as the season went on and was a crucial part of Kentucky's title run. The Wildcat's were deep at every position except the point guard and Teague filled that void more than ever in March. His improvements were visible throughout the season as he limited his turnovers and showed he can score in a highly talented lineup. He's very quick but doesn't have any other skills that set him apart from the other point guards in the draft, which will land him in the late first round.
